If Your Dream Only Includes You,

An eagle in flight is such

a magnificent sight. No doubt

about that. Nothing seems as free

But I don’t want to be an eagle.

I want to be a starling. To traverse

the skies in stunning murmuration

I want you & I and all our people

to swoop & soar. Together we can

grace the sky in concert & dance

None are free until all are free.

I don’t dream of the grandeur of flight —

I dream of a world without cages.
